The Arts Council in the UK has opened its National Lottery Project Grant for applications. The fund has a budget of £77.9 million and is available until April 2021. This is great timing to support the art industry during the pandemic, where so many have suffered, no more so than the entertainment, hospitality and art sectors.
Reflecting the situation with COVID-19, the Project Grants initiative is keen to support not only organisations but individuals, too. Given that demand is likely to be high, the Council asks that applicants take their time in putting their application together with the assurance that the funds will be managed across the year to ensure finance remains available and is not eaten up entirely before the end of the Project Grants term.
